Last night I went to a cooking class by Mazza chef Ali Sabbah. I think my main problem is that as I’m sitting there, loving all this talk about how to prepare eggplant and how to make Middle Eastern cheeses, I’m also thinking about how this kind of place I could meet my truest love.

“Oh, you love cooking, Middle Eastern food, the Jewish Community Center, Mazza, and being the only young adult among many 55-year-old couples too? Perfect.”

It would be such a cinematic romance.
