This morning when I woke up, I realized, hey, here I am, waking up, in Salt Lake City, going to work at this job I work at, in January of 2010. I don’t know what took me so long to realize these basic facts, but facts they are, and I now realize them.

Funny how, just one month ago, the facts were that I was waking up in Provo, and it was 2009, and I rode the bus for much of the day.

Now, here in Salt Lake, I appreciate that even in rain and snow storm, it only takes me 20 minutes to get to work as opposed to an hour and 45 minutes. Still, I often wish I could take that bus ride, and watch the sun set through the wide bus windows, and then just ride and ride and ride and ride, with only possibilities left ahead.
